Bourdon is a Czech family-owned publishing house established in 2012. We primarily focus on fiction, biographies, and prestigious non-fiction. The company is expanding into other genres as well, including true crime, sci-fi, detective, and historical novels. We publish works by the most successful contemporary Czech author, Patrik Hartl. Additionally, under the auspices of the Creative Europe program, we bring the readers interesting titles from smaller European languages.
Bourdon books have won numerous Czech Bestseller Awards, mostly for Patrik Hartl’s work, and also for Matthew Perry’s memoir.
In addition to Patrik Hartl, we also publish a number of other successful Czech authors, including Simona Votyová, Tomáš Klvaňa, Kateřina Chalupníková, František Kalenda, Petr Jantač, Jan Vávra, Petr Šafr, and others.
